It is with great joy that we announce Musicfest 2008 for R.I.S.E. was a Success!!

As in each Musicfest in the past we emphasize that this is an outreach ministry that is a blessing to be a part of, and that we try very hard to keep Christ at center stage from beginning to end.  In the course of the event we have three desires we pray will be fulfilled:

Jeri Mow, Greg Koomler

1.  That you will be blessed by the festivities

2.  That R.I.S.E. will be blessed by our helping hand

3.  Ultimately, that God will be glorified through it all.

Thank you so very much for making Praisathon Musicfest 2008 a Success!!

The Praisathon admission ticket allows the concert-goer to come and go all day long. Many first time patrons intend to come for an hour or two, but end up staying all day. No one working on (or performing in) Praisathon gets paid - making the event a one hundred percent labor of love.

The variety of music at Praisathon includes: Blue Grass, Southern Gospel, Classical, American Folk, Christian Rock, Contemporary Praise and Worship, Barbershop and Sweet Adeline's four part harmony, with performers from right here in Steuben County and some from as far away as New York.

A Moment for America

Every year at Praisathon we take time to honor our great country's men and women in uniform, our veterans, and above all, those who've  given their lives in the pursuit of protecting our freedoms.  Though we take just a short time for this, it is something we take very serious.  For a young person to put on this country's uniform and be willing to go wherever called and be willing to lay down their own life to protect the peace and freedom of many is the most honorable, glorious, and yet terrible calling that one could ever pledge.  We love them.  We pray for them. We thank God for them.  We love our country and though we are very young compared to most of the world, the loss of life in protecting it has been immeasurable.  Let us never take our freedoms, our democracy, or the cost to insure them for granted!
